Another reason I wanted to escape LDN was to finally visit @helmgallery_ in Brighton. A wonderful gallery with some amazing space and light, plus a bar so you can pop in for coffee or cocktails which is a great concept. So sad this isn’t local in reality. Bath with a view - wonderful stay again @drakesofbrighton 2. Reason we were there… to see the @romeshranga show @brighton_dome (so good!) 3. Evidence to show the sun came out for 27 seconds 4. ☕️the weekly grind ep 28:📍Nanima, Brighton Nothing better than a lil coffee in the sun with a pastry 🥐 Got my coffee from a local Asian eatery that makes daily batches of Vietnamese coffee & masala chai! I went for a Vietnamese coffee - i must admit i haven’t been to Vietnam, so i can’t speak for how authentic it is - but it was nice. It had a bottom layer of condensed milk that i mixed with the coffee. It wasn’t too milky and had a good flavour. I’ve had loads of good coffee and cake lately, so thought I’d share some with you! TAMP & GRIND - @tampgrindcoffee is an absolute gem! It opened in Lancing last year and as you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been happily enjoying the coffee and red velvet croissants ever since (they’re amazing). I especially love the window seat on a sunny day, so make sure you check it out if you’re in sunny Lancing! GAILS - This pecan and salted caramel cake from @gailsbakery in Hove was soooo nice. There are always loads of great cakes and treats to choose from…but this one was 5 star! Also love the little coffee cups, perfect for a flat white. DANDY - I discovered @dandycoffeebrighton today and loved it. The coffee was so smooth and creamy and the coffee art was on point. Managed to grab the seat in the window which is perfect for Brighton people watching. THE FLOURPOT BAKERY - Another one of my faves for coffee and pasties, although @theflourpotbakerybrighton bake amazing bread and cakes too!
