This is one of my favorite episodes, full of malls, mannequins, and as always, murder. 🌼 Ned announces he's "giving up" his powers and refuses to help when a new case rolls in: an acclaimed window dresser has been found dead in a fountain. Drama ensues, including a fake relationship between Olive and Ned, and the return of taxidermist Randy Mann. This one took me such a long time. I actually started it back in September and kept working on it during Inktober, but I just never had enough time to finish it. I didn’t mind, though, cause I loved working on it so much. Is there anybody else around here who loved the show Pushing Daisies? If so, please let me know! ❤️ It was such a big favourite of mine and I was so sad when it got cancelled... 😢 Anyway, this scene really touched me back then and I never forgot it, so I kept reminding myself to make a drawing of it sometime. I could relate to Chuck so much, because I also spent most of my life reading and I feel sad I never had the chance to visit many places, but on the other hand, nothing in the world ever gave me as much peace and joy as reading. There's sequins, and drama, and the promise of bloodshed! - Charlotte Charles 🌼 This episode centers on Ned, Maurice, and Ralston's experience being abandoned by their magic-trickster of a father. Ned turned to baking pies and keeping his feelings locked tight, while the twins turned to magic and found a father figure in the Great Hermann. Chuck's love of magic shows isn't enough to get rid of Ned's acid reflux, and the poor twins lose another father figure by the end of the episode. "Oh Oh Oh...
