Kaelyn's school formal photography session was an event to remember. Dressed in a stunning black lace gown, Kaelyn was every inch the picture of elegance and sophistication. She accessorised beautifully with a pair of drop earrings, a matching necklace, a cute cameo clutch and platform heels. The backdrop of the Petrie Historic Village added a touch of charm to the occasion. The old buildings and the dramatic staircase in the hotel added a romantic feel to the photos. The greenery and bougainvillea around the village also provided a naturally gorgeous backdrop. Kaelyn's parents and grandparents joined her for her pre-formal photography session, and I’m sure that her photos will be cherished for years to come. Kaelyn was the last of my formal clients for 2023. Kaleigh had always dreamed of taking her school formal photos with her beloved mare Charlie. She spent months preparing and training Charlie for the big day in front of the camera! (Although Charlie was a natural being a Western Pleasure show horse). We decided to do the photoshoot on the day that Kaleigh had her hair and make-up trial (which I highly recommend!). This allowed us to take a bit more time and capture that golden light of the late afternoon. As we began the photo shoot, everything was perfect. The sun was shining, and then a big, dark storm came in quickly and the light disappeared sooner than we expected.
