We at coolstuff.nyc love color and people and New York, so naturally we LOVED this recreation of Ormond Gigli’s Girls in the Windows. As part a new campaign, They <3 NY, @instylemagazine worked with a group of artist-tenants at a Clinton Hill apartment building that used to be a candy factory. Read more about the project, see the amazing image and a profile of each artist on their page!

The bygone days of travel have led to endless daydreams of places to rest our heads. Pretending life is a Wes Anderson film at The Pink Zebra. Another cocktail at the @maisondelaluz secret bar. To slide through complementary tones at @theloopinn . For now these photos will have to do.

Until about three weeks ago we only had one mask each that we hand washed alllll the time. I guess we were hoping this wouldn’t last so long? (lol). Well times have changed - we have more masks and wear them proudly! Here are two masks that we love (tolerate) to wear. @poketo @shopclarev
Soooo we’re at around month 4 of social distance and there’s a fair chance you're getting tired of your space. Luckily, one of our favorite design shops, @comingsoonny , has collaborated with @backdrop on a series of 3 fun paint colors. Get yours here and throw it at a wall!!! (We snagged the blue to paint our french door! Meticulous taping optional.)
New York is NOT made for dining outdoors. Street-side garbage, loud traffic and rats are 3 (occasionally true) stereotypes that make the concept unappealing. Nonetheless, businesses have been shaking things up to bring in more diners. Read about the temporary architecture of outdoor dining on @curbed .
We’re nearing the end of a hot July in New York and while the heat may be high these last few weeks, spending time outdoors is a good way to break up quarantine fatigue. We’ve rounded up some of the best places in New York to read a book this weekend at the link in our bio !!! Our favorite is the curb across the street from @seycoffee (photo #3)
An amazing new idea we’ve seen popping up across the city is a network of Community Fridges from Bushwick to the Bronx. In order to ease food insecurity and mitigate waste, these community fridges serve New Yorkers by simply existing. Anyone is encouraged to take the food they need or give anything they may have. This is @thefriendlyfridge in Bushwick, BK.

While we are all waiting for life to get back to normal, you have time to choose a laser hair removal studio 🤚🏼 And you can start the course right away after quarantining. ⠀ Like ♥️ if you have already chosen our studio or are taking a course! ⠀ Advantages of the CANDELA Laser ⤵️ ⠀ 🔹 You’ll forget about unwanted hair forever or for a very long time (after the full course) 🔹 It’s good for light and dark skin 🔹 Great effect on dark hair 🔹Standard course consists of 6-12 sessions 🔹 Completely get rid of ingrown hair 🔹 The speed of the treatment is lower than at diode 🔹 During the treatment the remaining hair (allowable length of 1-2 mm), is eliminated “burn” 🔹Because of less needed sessions of a full course the cost of laser hair removal on this laser is cheaper than on any other. ⠀ If you want to get a consultation, you can always get it, just dm us🤗 or call at 📲 (929)461-6682 ⠀ 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ ⠀ Пока мы все ждём, когда жизнь станет полноценной и ситуация нормализуется, у вас есть время, чтобы выбрать студию лазерной эпиляции 🤚🏼 И начать курс сразу после выхода из карантина.
