Okay I've been meaning to do this for a while and there will probably be seperate posts as well because I can’t talk about these books enough. But these are the series that are seared into my brain. I can very much define my life into a before and after with these books- they altered my brain chemistry and you guys asked for the brainrot version. With one day left of this year it seems like a good time for a reading wrap up and I have to say 2023 really was an exceptional reading year for me, I discovered so many books I absolutely fell for and that burned themselves into my brain like the captive prince, summer sons or all for the game, and I read so many fantastic books that have become favourites, like ninth house, wrecked, lie with me, human acts or Addie LaRue I think. And then there were some outstanding books that had the ability to render me speechless, like swimming in the dark, our wives under the sea, the beekeeper of aleppo or know my name. There's so few books I didn't lie and I am incredibly happy about it, because it really made for incredible stories this year. And once again I want to say thank you to everyone I've met on here. I never thought this would be a space where I could meet such beautiful, lovely and kind people <3 so thank you. And with that I'm very much looking forward to 2024

It can be loud in there, but that's because it gets filled with beautiful people having a relaxedly fun time. The staff is great & attentive & spirited and the whole place feels like it takes you on a mini vacation to somewhere wonderful. 🥃 I enjoyed their take on the WHITE NEGRONI.
