PSA! At home colour care! Can you believe I took this pic yesterday, and we haven't dyed Kay's hair since Nov 26th!! That's 11 weeks! 11!!! Look how vibrant her red still is!! I ain't lying, just look at her roots! (And her beautiful face!) At home colour care is super important if you want results like this!! ❤️ wash your hair as infrequently as possible! Once a week is my recommendation, but if you can do longer, by all means! ❤️ wash your hair in cool/cold water!! Hot water will wash your colour down the drain. ❤️ use Quality shampoo/conditioner. (Yes, thats Quality with a capital 'Q'!) Sulphate-free is key!! Kay uses Olaplex no 4 and 5. ❤️ go easy on Hot styling tools! Anything with heat is going to speed up fading. These tips don't just apply to to vibrant colours like this, they will prolong the beauty of any colour service!! But for Vivids like this, they are a must!!

Perms aren't something I get to do very often, but man they are making a come back!! Here is Judy showing off her gorgeous new curls!! Perms can be great for super fine, super straight hair, even if you don't always want to rock the curls. They can simply add volume and style longevity if you straighten or curl your hair with an iron!

Another one of my blondes has gone back to dark! Julie had been testing the waters since the fall but jumped right in just before Christmas! But I have to say, I'm totally obessed with this shade on her! I love how the darkness makes her eyes pop, and the ribbons of caramel add the right amount of dimension!
This was step 1 in taking Jamiee back to her natural from her blonde we had been doing for about a year. Root smudge and low lights added throughout. I was reluctant to add too much dark cause you know, you never know.... 😬 but she loved it and came back for more! This fun new technique is sweeping social media, it's called braided Balayage. I used it here to add some darkness to Kristen's hair while maintaining some lightness for dimension. Turned out amazing, but Kristen's hair always looks amazing!!
