For my first time hearing โBringinโ on the Heartacheโ on ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ค ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฆ๐ด yesterday, I recorded my reaction. I explain in most of my intro & outro how I felt & my experience with this song, but like I mentioned this to a few fans yesterday Iโm finding I need to enjoy just one song at a time on this album because the sound is so incredible. Why one at a time? I love classical music & Def Leppard both so much, & the marriage of the two feels to me like a delicious yet rich dessert. I want to eat it all, but in order to do so I need to savor slowly with just one bite at a time! Iโm just sharing a few of my reaction clips to this song here, along with voice over to explain how Iโm feeling, but also in short excerpts (instead of a reel) with hopes itโs ok for copyright reasons. I respect Def Leppard & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the brilliant accomplishments of both them & make no money from my clips. I do them only to share with my fellow Def Leppard fans. Following โBringinโ on the Heartbreakโ on ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ โ๐โ ๐๐ณ๐บ album is โSwitch 625โ. If you know that album well & listen nonstop, you know that the two songs flow into each other seamlessly. Iโm not covering โSwitch 625โ here, but I do share how excited I am that this beautiful transition is included on this album. What do I think of this song overall? I honestly struggle to describe how approving & lovinโ-it I feelโitโs so gorgeously done! Reaction no. 1 to โGods of Warโ I decided to do an initial reaction video last night of my 1st time hearing โGods of Warโ, @defleppard featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra @royalphilorchestra This version of my reaction is just through my iPhone speakers. Coming up, Iโll be doing 2 more reactions w/ both stereo & through headphones. IMO this is the most powerful song on ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ค ๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฆ๐ด ๐ Iโve purposely broken it into parts w/ voiceover here out of respect of copyright & the musicians, but also to better explain what Iโm feeling. A few of my clips here got cut off at the ends, but you catch my drift that Iโm totally in love with this piece! ๐ No profit made from this for myself or any of my postsโI only profit on sharing with fellow Def Leppard fans love, smiles, as well my feelings about this legendary band! The orchestra portrays to me in this version what the story intends to feel like, as all classical music compositions are actually telling a story. In my opinion, it adds so much more emotion & feeling. I hear a marching band marching into war, & then throughout the song the feeling of being both addled & distressed within the throes of war. All of the thoughts: the fear; the adrenaline; the complexity: the โWhy this?!โ The timpani used, as well as the plucking of the strings after each of the lines in the first verse, gave me the effect of that feeling of trepidation. I enjoyed very much as well the deep & rich sound produced from the large recording studio. โGods of Warโ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra = Goosebumps + Excellently enhanced feeling + Perfection! I believe Steve Clark would be so proud of this album too! Iโm really looking forward to knowing what you all think of this song as well!
