Our third pillar is: “Be Involved” This week, I had the privilege of visiting with all 70+ 5th graders at my elementary school, Maple Grove Elementary! It was a full circle moment coming back and speaking with the current fifth graders. I first learned to recognize the importance of community involvement when I was in 5th grade about 7 years ago. Being involved has become a large part of my life and my identity. I am involved in various projects, initiatives, and programs. Each one holds significant meaning to me, and I love diving deep within each of them. As my personal favorite pillar, “Be Involved” has fostered a commitment to the community, passion for the work that I do, and love for the people I encounter! What does “Be Involved” mean to you? #BeInvolved #Distinguished #DYW #dywIowa
Our second pillar this week is: “Be Ambitious” My motto is, “dream bigger, achieve greater, and aspire for more.” Each of us have the potential to soar to unimaginable heights! Here are my five tips for being ambitious: 🧳 Set Goals: goals are fluid and continue to evolve 💪 Take Action: one step at a time, and bring others along with you 💫 Create Change: spread positivity around you and foster a drive for meaningful change ✨ Progress: track your growth and celebrate your progress every step of the way #BeAmbitious #Distinguished #DYW #dywiowa
