This is the first fashion campaign of mine that was printed for decals in a fashion store. Over 7 years ago now! It went into three stores across Melbourne throughout several shopping centres. Understandably I drove out to see the window decals because it was a bucket list moment for me. My work has been in several store windows since, but this campaign will always be extra special for me. It was also SO much fun to shoot! Three of us drove 3.5hrs north to Cactus Country with a car full of outfits and thankfully the model, gosha,kiki.music (babe that she is) is also a DJ so the 7hr commute was full of bangin’ tunes as well. While Kat styled every aspect of the shoot we walked through the biggest cactus garden I have ever seen, still to this day. Everywhere we looked there was a new beautiful backdrop. The images look like we were in a different country and the colours of the outfits just popped against the dessert-like backdrop. To get a truly captivating fashion campaign, often we drive to really remote destinations and our shoot days are 12-15hrs long. But it’s always worth it. You don’t get images like these in your average botanical gardens. You want a statement campaign? You need a standout location!
