A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Michael and Debbie’s wedding! You MAY recognize Debbie from a post I made last fall back when we were updating her dating profile images! When Debbie contacted me, a few weeks before the wedding, to ask if I was available; I was FLOORED. I mean after all, we did her photos last fall! But she told me about Michael, and how they found each other, and that they knew they couldn’t wait another minute to be married; and I was so so so so happy. Working with Lexi & Nick was kismet. I have a questionnaire for couples when they book me. I pull it up to get up to speed the morning of your shoot to remind myself of your goals, the style you want, etc. A few days before their wedding, I sent a Pinterest board full of direct flash B&W’s showing couples jumping on the bed, chilling in hotel hallways, and playing on the bellhop cart. Lexi’s reply: “Yes. Obsessed.” It wasn’t until I looked at her Pinterest board on the day of their shoot that I discovered that she had pinned THE SAME PHOTOS. I felt so fortunate to have been invited to photograph this warm and joyful Gemini Springs Park micro wedding. Hayley and Matthew met when she started following him on Instagram and slid into his DMs. They have a shared interest in health and founded a company together @healthysolsoap to provide people with the most nourishing and safe-to-use products for their skin. On this day, though, they clocked out and solidified their other partnership as a married couple.
