The coyote swap Survived the dyno!! Made 369whp/380tq which is lil less hp then I expected but more tq then i thought it would make too. Honestly though it doesn’t feel like it’s low on anything it’s stupid rowdy and feels way more powerful than I expected. Just gotta fix a few things before Sunday like the throttle sticking while pressing the brakes hard and my windows not working. First track day was a major success. Car drove perfectly and I have nothing to complain about. Temps stayed good , was super predictable in drift , able to add angle and decrease angle. Started life as a low mile n.a 4cylinder 5 speed car, slowly over the past 6 years I've built the car into what I wanted/ couple afford lol. 87 turbocoupe engine with a bunch of bolt ons and ms2 ecu. Sn95 rear end, spindles, brake master cylinder, 03 gt lower control arms. Aluminum drive shaft. Fr500 knockoff wheels. Corbeau driver seat. Alot of the basic foxbody mods. Love this car a lot. needs to get redone, but for now, I'm enjoying having it driveable. Getting a maximum motorsports panhard, bigger injectors, 3.73s with carbon clutches very soon. When I bought the car it had a bit of a stability problem at highway speeds. I figured it was just because of the aggressive alignment, but lots of the suspension bolts had come loose from drifting. I went through everything and used thread locker and re-torqued everything. I also noticed the passenger side front wheel had some play in it so I threw in a new wheel bearing and fixed that too. Went to fill up the gas tank and noticed a strong fuel smell when I got home, turns out part of the tank is cracked. I am going to try and repair it but if that doesn’t work I’ll throw in a new one. It was nice to get the car up in the air and look everything over, this is just a reminder how important it is to check over all of your bolts before an event!
