One would think I’d be used to saying goodbye to my parents as I’ve been doing this for 30ish years while they were living overseas But no, it never got easier even though we did it every year Now though they’re permanently back in Australia (on the opposite side of our massive country) its still difficult as we dont know how long for! THE GRATITUDE WE SHOW AND FEEL IS AS IMPORTANT IN CHALLENGING TIMES AS IT IS IN GOOD TIMES …. we may just have to dig a little deeper Yesterday my morning I started off writing ✍️ out my gratitudes 🙏 with a nice cuppa ☕️ and gypsy flame music 🎶 in the background , when I received a call ☎️ from the boys high school One of them had just cut his hand in construction and would need stitches … yep a trip to the A & E was needed 🏥 Seriously, Id been in the midst of truly feeling all the feels of gratitude for mine and my family’s good health when this happened 🤦🏻♀️ Initially I thought wow WTF but with 4 hours ⏰ to spend in A & E I had time to realise so many more things to be grateful for just in this situation - could have been a lot worse than just 2 stitches - awesome doctors 🩺 taking many precautions before stitching up AND having extreme patience with someone with a fear of needles 💉( I guess he won’t be getting any tattoos haha) - I was home and able to come straight away when needed No matter what life throws or how challenging it feels, finding gratitude and the positive aspects does help and is important Wishing you all a beautiful day and awesome long weekend Karine 🥰 https://msha.ke/karinesmatthews/

My morning routine during school holidays is often a bit like my Sunday routine … a nice S L O W pace ... As I’m focusing on my health and fitness atm, I can say that I feel like I have found a routine that’s feeling good and right for me (daily exercise 60-90 minutes) partnered with intermittent fasting and no alcohol ( all of November so far) AND I’m enjoying it … win win 🥇 Today’s workout was quick-moving with LOW IMPACT cardio moves with abs and balance exercises and light weights Ooof 😅 It always amazes me how these little 20ish minute workouts can really give you a good sweaty workout session I then love to finish off with an hour speed walk on the treadmill Summer is literally just around the corner, so with that in mind, it’s definitely keeping me on track and motivated I haven’t achieved my fitness and weight goal yet but I’m on my way, each day getting closer Whatever our goals are personally, physically, career wise, financially, … focus, persistence and consistency is key Karine 🥰 Having clear goals and direction is the answer to us achieving them 💪🏻 #itsuptometocreatemydreams https://msha.ke/karinesmatthews/

Working on my money story stirred up so old feelings and beliefs Peeling back layers, digging deeper certainly brought up some old beliefs! ❓Where did they come from ❓Were they mine or did I adopt them from someone Here’s what’s popped up previously which I’ve worked on, but the thing is it can rear back up at anytime when triggered - Just be satisfied with what you have as many dont even have that - Don’t spend your money or you won’t have enough when you need it ... aka rainy day - You have to work long and hard with lots of sacrifices to survive and maybe get ahead a little - You’re not as smart and lucky as others to live luxuriously and abundantly so don’t waste time thinking about it, just accept it - You can’t have both money and love... choose one or the other WTAF !!!! No way will I accept these beliefs these days, though I certainly used to believe them … how sad and limiting!! FIRST STEP: Recognise these limiting beliefs as non-serving, and unwanted SECOND STEP: Rewire them to get unstuck from things not working out, from self sabotage, from repeating and creating the same mistakes facing the same blockages and outcomes THIRD STEP Replace and implant strong positive beliefs and affirmations around money .. “I am worthy of living abundantly” .. “It is my birthright to create and succeed and enjoy my goals and dreams” .. “Everything is as it should be for my highest good” Ive had to knock my old beliefs down one by one, and even deal with all the small ones surrounding them, also tearing them down!! It’s not always easy (sometimes quite painful) as I’ve had to go deep and deal with where they came from to then release them, but it actually feels like weights are lifting from my shoulders! This has allowed me to move ahead with leaps and bounds, grateful for all the lessons I’ve learnt and keep learning With a positive money mindset, it allows us to keep attracting profitable opportunities to help improve and secure our financial future as well as create the life we want to enjoy What’s your money story and mindset like? ‼️10 EXTRA KILO’S ‼️ To cover the shame ive felt here are the excuses I’ve hidden behind👇 -Because I gave up smoking 3 years ago -Because I’ve been in iso -Because I’m getting older -Because I don’t have time -Because because because 🤦🏻♀️ ‼️‼️WHAT A LOAD OF BS 💩 THE 10kg ARE FROM ME‼️‼️ Yes I gave up smoking Yes we’ve been in iso Yes I’m in my 50’s Yes life gets busy But that’s all the BS excuses that I’ve being hiding behind‼️ NO MORE -I have 10 extra kilo’s from -Eating more -Choosing quick unhealthy foods over fresh well balanced nutritious food -Not exercising -A lack mindset No one forced me to make any of those poor decisions and hide behind my excuses Ive now said ENOUGH I’ve taken back my power and owned my 💩 Ive committed to getting healthy and reaching my goal weight.. 10kg less than now Im committed to: - eating healthy fresh and less 🌱 - just one glass of 🍷 with my 🥘 - drinking 3L - 4L of quality 💦 - exercising everyday 🏋️♀️🧘🏻♀️🏃♀️ I decided and got clear on my vision of how - I am feeling great and fit - I am looking heathy, hydrated with a smooth glowing skin and a toned body - I am living life full of energy We can all make poor decisions but we can change grow and evolve instead of hiding behind our 💩 excuses It’s now almost 2 weeks into having implemented these awesome changes and I can already feel some amazing changes And Im feeling better about myself knowing I am making good decisions and choices We all can make poor decisions at times but what’s important is to recognise them, own them and implement change Happy weekend everyone Karine 🏋️♀️🏃♀️💦🌱

What I’ve learnt from my experiences while raising 4 sons
I thought it may be time to reintroduce myself especially as there are so many new faces here on my page following my journey ….. But with my track record I’d end up writing a novel here as once I start writing… I just keep going lol So instead I thought I’d switch it up with highlighting just SOME things Here are 5 things you may not know about me: 1- I would choose to go to some snowy Alps 🏔🎿 in a nice chalet with an open fireplace over an island 🌴 summer holiday … though I prefer and love beach camping over bush camping ⛺️ 2- I dreamt about being pregnant 🤰 with twins 2 weeks before we were told I was pregnant with twins 👯♂️ (ps: there’s no twins in either of our families and we had never even talked or thought about wanting or not wanting twins lol) 3- I’ve never been on a cruise 🚢 because I get terrible motion / sea 🌊 sickness 🤢 and really worried the tablets wouldn’t work for me though we did migrate to Australia via ship over 33 days 4- I don’t like champagne (yes even though I’m French) but love a nice glass of red wine 🍷 and cocktails 🍹 5- I prefer savoury and spicy 🧀🌶🥗🍤foods to sweet 🍡🍧🍫🍰 foods Karine 🥰 #itsuptometocreateandturnmydreamsintomyreality https://msha.ke/karinesmatthews/

A BIG HAPPY MONDAY MORNING TO ALL YOU DAY CARE MAMAS …. or is it I know for many, that Monday realisation that it’s time to leave your bubs at day care again or in someone else’s care saddens you so much You’d much rather those extra morning cuddles and snuggles than that rushing out the door to do the horrid drop off I remember that feeling all too well when our first born was 3 and I drop him off at day care …. with him crying and having to be pried from my arms … me leaving in tears… it was horrible 😭 There is a solution More than ever before, there are options and choices to help you create time freedom to actually ENJOY LIFE and live it on your terms Set yourself up to stay with your bubs and receive a passive income, earning daily, getting paid weekly … Yep … passive means earning on autopilot!!!
