Kim’s Convenience (2016-2021) Season 1-5 Genre : Comedy Rating : 10/10 A Korean-Canadian family runs a convenience store in Toronto. They have to deal with customers, family issues, and a changing environment. I started watching it once before and for some crazy reason, I didn’t get into it. A close friend made me watch a few episodes and I was hooked. I watched the entire thing in 3 days and I loved every second of it. The series is so funny and sweet that you can’t help but enjoy it. It’s so great. The storyline was super nice, the characters were very relatable and very likable and the story arcs were pretty cool too! I’m just really sad that they decided to end the show with so many things up in the air. That being said, the last episode was pretty nice, I actually teared up there for a minute. I loved the family dynamic and just everything about it! It has now become one of my comfort shows and ill be rewatching it again and again pretty obsessively. So, if you haven’t seen it yet, you should check it out! It’s a super sweet, feel-good type series that’s easy to watch and very enjoyable. Kim’s Convenience. Netflix Original. What a fun and breezy series!! I adored it! The show is a comedy based on a Korean family living in Toronto. The Kims own a convenience store and the show takes us on quirky adventures based on family and humor. The actors that play the parents are so funny and witty! And the two actors that play their two children are equally fun. The supporting cast is hilarious and I just loved the feeling the show left me with. Feel good and lots of laughs. I’d definitely recommend for a light and fun show!
