The LD Organics facility in Chamberlain Hills is not exactly what you would call discreet. After all, there is a huge sign outside advertising Lamar's illicit product. Perhaps not, then, the best place for thirty very green cars and their very questionable owners to gather for a car meet. However, for the most part the LSPD continued to turn a blind eye to the dodgy dealings in the city, and left us alone. Everyone who arrived had painted their rides with an OEM green color, and yet there was still a surprising variety on display. After a long day on patrol keeping the streets of Los Santos safe, weary officers return to base and park up their cruisers for the night. In the lot below the Vespucci Police Station sit the vehicles that these hard-working law-keepers have pursued, confiscated and impounded during their shift. However, when the entire force was called back on duty to attend an emergency at the airport, the brazen criminal fraternity reclaimed their vehicles and followed the action. Each of them were then chased down and subjected to the good old "pit manoeuvre" to finally bring them to justice. When you are heading north on Senora Freeway route 13, and happen to glance over to your left, you would not be surprised to see hatchbacks and station wagons amongst the vehicles parked outside of the You Tool store. They are the perfect choice when shopping for your bulky hardware needs. Yesterday however, the store appeared to be closed, but 30 cars pulled in to the carpark anyway, each and every one of them a hatchback or wagon. Far up north at a gas station in Paleto Bay, the DCA crew rolled up, and rolled back the clock to the 1990's. Considered by many historians to be "The Best Decade Ever", there were certainly plenty of cool vehicles from the period to keep us car addicts happy. And thirty era-specific motors from a variety of manufacturers turned up to remind us of the good old days. Mr Digital Car Addict picked his top three modern classics, and then we took an old-skool night-time cruise back to the city, stopping at gas stations along the way. At a swanky hotel on the west side of Los Santos, a collection of British motors old and new rolled up ready to be judged by Digital Car Addict. There may have been other British car owners that had hoped to attend, but they must have broken down on the way to the meet location. We will never know... Not always noted for reliability, there were nevertheless some good looking British motors that managed to get there, and DCA picked his top three, as follows. There was a carnival atmosphere in the air and everyone got into the party spirit, with red and gold themed cars and matching outfits everywhere. Lunar New Year is here, and the Year of the Dragon began with a DCA Car Meet. So we headed to the Little Seoul area of Los Santos, ready to join in the festivities. Once Digital Car Addict had reviewed all of the cars in attendance, we took a drive to the Oriental Theater on Vinewood Boulevard, where there were fireworks, fun, and sadly a few cops, unimpressed by our pyrotechnic display.
