- 六安居是我整趟旅程中最港的行程之一。 #hk_flaneuring 電梯門一開啟，人聲鼎沸，顧客圍著點心車，想要入座的人、想要點餐的人，和推點心車的阿姨，大家都動彈不得，這就是我期待的港式飲茶啊！ 我們那天坐在一個十人桌，左右兩旁分別是一對香港夫妻，看著我們手足無措的樣子，他們適時地給了我們一點指引。如果等待餐車推到你面前，那麼可能你想要的蒸籠會沒了，所以可以自己向推車靠近。 首圖烤西米露布丁之類的東西我從來沒有在臺灣的港式餐廳看過，但是這個東西一出爐，隔壁的香港先生馬上提醒我們：「這個很好吃，來這裡一定要吃。」我們三組客人各自挖了幾口後，兩對夫妻中的兩位香港先生馬上相互確認這個口味是對的嗎？然後轉頭跟我說，「這個今天做壞了！」我笑著表示理解，但他們還是把店員叫過來抱怨了一番🤣 這就是香港人情味的展現吧！ 用餐的當地人比例很高，餐點表現可圈可點，隨便亂拿的淮山雞扎超級好吃，鹹水餃也很是我的菜，作為港式情懷的體驗，非常推薦這個地方給大家。 Luk On Kui is one of the most authentically Hong Kong experiences I had on my trip. People looking for seats, grabbing dim sum, and the lady pushing the cart were all caught up in the bustle. This chaotic scene was the Hong Kong-style yum cha I was looking forward to! We sat at a table for ten people, surrounded by Hong Kong couples on both sides. Noticing our confusion, they kindly guided us through the process. Don't wait for the dim sum cart to come to you—approach it yourself or your desired items may be gone! The grilled sago pudding in the first picture was a first for me. As soon as it came out of the oven, the couple next to us enthusiastically recommended it: "This is delicious and the signature dish here. You must try it." However, the Hong Kong gentlemen from both couples weren’t satisfied with the taste, saying “they screwed up today” and then turning to the clerk to complain 🤣 To me, maybe this is a sort of Hongkong spirit, caring and lively. The place was full of locals, and the food was authentic. The yam chicken I tried was incredibly tasty, and the salty dumplings were also a highlight. For a genuine Hong Kong-style experience, I highly recommend this spot!

dim sum with a view 😍🥢 @hexahk located at @harbourcity offers fusion and modernized dim sum dishes. the interiors are gorgeous with views of Victoria Harbour and the restaurant itself is very spacious. highlights were the crispy shrimp toast, flaky crispy turnip in puff pastry and the jellyfish with yuzu vinegar. overall, the food was decent but it was quite pricey for its portion sizes. it is a good spot for a celebration! #juliemunches_tst #juliemunches_chinese

@linheungtea house is a traditional and very old school Hong Kong dimsum institution. It recently reopened after closing during the Covid period so we were very lucky to be able to come here. Every piece of dimsum is made in-house and served in big steel trolleys issuing gushing clouds of steam. This is a style of dimsum that has long since disappeared from Singapore's scene. When the trolleys are wheeled out of the kitchen, there is an immediate scrum of hungry diners that rush in to try to snag their favourite dish, leaving diners in the far corners of the dining room without a chance unless they too join the scrum. It pays to be fast on your feet! Also expect to share tables when you dine here, and this etiquette is widely accepted because such places are very informal and cheap and really need to pack their patrons in during their breakfast and lunch hour. 📌 @foxglove.hk Was a wee bit disappointed with this meal TBH - my dad and I went out for my parents 25th anniversary (mum was away living her paddling dream in SA 🥹) The hagow was quite watery and my did thought it was off (it wasn’t, we were fine) and then after that any other seafood stuff I had made me feel a wee uneasy - lesson learned to only eat veg??? I was also unhappy with the veg dumplings but that’s just my dislike to mushies FINALLY, we wanted to have a cocktail and was brought the cocktail menu, which was extremely extensive and beautiful, and after spending a good amount of time perusing, the waitress said we couldn’t have any since it was lunch (which is fine but why bring the menu?)
