Congratulations Holly and Joseph! #shesaidyes #hrjengaged I created this gorgeous ring with Joseph in secret, ready for his recent surprise proposal 🥰. With her refined Scandi style, we felt that Holly would be perfectly paired with a solitaire with a difference. It had to be elegant and ‘minimalist’ but not dainty. Joseph also loved the idea of sourcing an antique diamond. Together we selected this gorgeous 1.5ct Oval Old Mine Cut. Upon meeting the stone, he knew it was the one for his ONE 🤩. With its rose cut facets this diamond has a pretty and gentle look, with the open oval shape lending a 'wow factor’, creating an eye catching solitaire. 💎 ✨ I designed a minimalist open bezel setting for the stone, which holds the diamond securely in place, whilst allowing a generous amount of light to pass through the gem, with a bold gold tarpeing band. Big CONGRATULATIONS @clairefyfecooks and James! It was a complete pleasure to create the rings that mark this HUGE moment for you both. Claire came to me having already said YES!! and with a beautiful solitaire on her finger. She was excited to create her wedding band, and knew she wanted a design absolutely personal to her; that would make the perfect partner to her engagement ring, celebrating her union with her own perfect partner 💗 Claire’s design mood board was packed full of ideas and possible directions, my task was to get to know Claire, and to hone in on that DREAM design. We decided to focus on creating an eternity design, linking her wedding band to her engagement ring through the choice of complimentary (but not matching) diamonds. The Carré cut diamonds in the design beautifully echo the open emerald cut diamond in her ER, adding impact without taking away from beauty of her engagement ring. I then channel set these gorgeous stones to create a super chic, modern and clean ring that would work perfectly with Claire’s style. On the inside of the band we engraved the coordinates of their wedding destination in Turks and Caicos, a place that is beyond special to them both, as well as their wedding date. 💗 Thoughtfully considered, tailored design + personal touches is what Bespoke is all about! CELEBRATING 8 YEARS! So this is a little bit of a latergram, but @emmacaharding's recent story celebrating her 8 year wedding anniversary took me back to working with this wonderful couple, and to the ring I created for them! Emma loved the idea of a halo design but it needed to feel modern and 💯 her. I created a contemporary oval halo using graduating round diamonds around a beautiful central brilliant cut. We set the stones with a platinum backing creating a surface with a truly unmissable shimmer, within a modern clean tapered rose gold band. They approached me with the idea to remodel the ring. 💥 FAMILY DIAMONDS 💥 My client’s husband proposed with a family ring featuring five incredible cushion cut diamonds, however the traditional setting was completely unsuited to her style, and made the ring feel too showy which meant she seldom wore it (Scroll to the second pic to see the heirloom ring) When she approached me she was unsure if it would be possible to make these generous diamonds feel much more wearable; much more her.
