Boxycharm - January 2024 Hey guys I’m still catching up on these #subscriptionboxes and instead of focusing on the boxes themselves as the whole idea of this box or that box is kinda over, let’s look at @boxycharm products and some #ipsyaddons Add ons @ciatelondon foundation/ concealer in a liquid balm format - this is very thick so I would suggest this is for spot correcting and go over with a bb cream. It’s very thick so it will get cakey quick @dionisskincare goat milk hand cream this isn’t @beekman1802 but it’s ok @anastasiabeverlyhills cream bronzer it’s a nice formula in terms of blending but the color is too yellow orange in color @freshbeauty soy face cleanser I’ve covered this in the past and how much I like it. The size is pretty good too @ilmakiage quad eyeshadow it looks more expensive than it applies the colors are so overdone. @lysbeautyofficial bronzer stick - this is my fave cream bronzer at the moment. Highly recommend @rodialbeauty vitamin c cleanser I really like this one. Vitamin c #skincare agrees with my skin @odacite skincare it’s pretty standard nice glass jar but it’s not life changing What do you guys think? Anything you wanna try? Totally worth it and I’ve gotten so much use from it. It’s the perfect everyday rose palette @olehenriksen orange truth Cleanser I love vitamin c anything for my skin and this is one of my favorite cleaners ! @ciatelondon bb cream sample I love trying different bb creams and while I have found a ton I like I’ll always try more. This one is ok note a fave. Honestly my @itcosmetics bb is still my fave ! Ok now items in the box @pomeloandco_ hair mask I love these and this one is vanilla yummy @kvdbeauty good apple concealer this is very thick and while I love the foundation this is a little heavy but used with a wet sponge light can be great @hudabeauty liquid lip. This is very pigmented but also very drying and heavy. It’s like wearing wax. The color is wearable but very berry @byroe_official celery aha resurfacing tonic. Absolutely stunning #packagingdesign but very strong product @earthharbor vitamin c moisture tonic this is great it’s very beautiful packaging design and is very moisturizing So thoughts? Here’s what I added to my Ipsy Glam Bag: @anastasiabeverlyhills Modern Renaissance 14-pan eyeshadow palette (MSRP $45) and Satin Lipstick in the shade Rose (MSRP $23). @lauragellerbeauty Baked Blush-N-Brighten Marbleized Blush in the shade Pink Grapefruit (MSRP $30). @decomiami Glass Nail File in Light Blue (MSRP $7). The two ABH products and the blush were in a “Rosy Cheeks” bundle for $25. The nail file was a free bonus gift for spending $25. I have wanted this palette for a long time as well as the lipstick. In fact, I have bought this lipstick twice from Ipsy only to later be told they were “out of stock.” I finally got it and it did not disappoint. The shade is more of a berry to me, much deeper than rose IMO. The blush I already own. The opened blush in the photo is mine. I’m passing the new blush along to a friend. I love to wear this blush in the summer. It’s kind of a highlighter and blush all in one. I would have bought the nail file on its own. I’ve always wanted to try a glass file. 💄 Ipsy Add ons from March - let’s review 💄 - - Hey guys I’m getting at this very late but let’s do it - @kvdbeauty apple foundation I picked this bc many were raving about it but this brand has always been cakey for me. This didn’t disappoint however I use it much like my @danessa_myricks cream foundation. In fact it’s great to cover then use that to blend and add glow. Highly recommend if you can match for spot concealing with a tinted moisturizer or bb cream for the no makeup look - - @beautybakeriemakeup do it for the Graham. The #colorstory is fun but the formula isn’t. This doesn’t show up at all! It’s powdery and has no pigment and patches. All the stuff you don’t want - - @lauragellerbeauty desert dreams this color story is very wearable but again the pigment is lacking. I have used it for simple looks but I wish it showed up more or stayed - - @patmcgrathreal blush and highlight palette (divine glow) the colors are nice and when you mix it has lots of options. The #packagingdesign is stunning and the quality is great so happy - - 2 out of 2 isn’t bad ! Ipsy/Boxy now one thing and how the first month went for choice - - Hey guys all I can say is what a mess. First off #ipsyglambagplus is gone as well as #boxycharmpremium next the #ipsyglambagx and #boxyluxe are now #iconbox so in essence we lost out on multiple boxes and options. That may not be a bad thing if the ones that remain are good well let’s start here / - I’m getting 2 #ipsyglambag and #boxycharm one I didn’t even sign up for and the other I cancelled which I did again but will it reappear who knows - - So now that I’m stuck with 2 each am I getting different stuff I’m no - - Stating with Boxycharm (and I guess I’ll call it plus redone) - - I got the same @natashadenona palette in both which is cool as a pick but this is where #ipsy needs to let you trade stuff the other pick was different in one box the @olehenriksen cc stick which I got in apricot (I added another in pumpkin one because well it’s pumpkin and 2 bc if it’s a tinted vitamin c stick I liked the shade more. In the other box I got the @origins serum - - Then I got to pick - Choice one had many dupes but 2 were different Choice 2 had more variety mostly bc it removed what I got last month Choice 3 - only one different so that was the same stuff so while my box will only have one dupe it could have been the same with different accounts entirely - - Now for #glambag - I’m getting 2 dupes completely then both are getting blenders from different companies one hair one moisturizer bc I picked that the other one I didn’t pick bc I had canceled it but getting a setting powder and an eyeliner - - I’m gonna have to contact #ipsycare in the morning bc I don’t want all these dupes and all these charges are insane - - Add ons wise well it was a standard month and I generally like the #ipsyaddons and this month was no different as I got some stuff but I wish past months goodies were an option that you didn’t get - - Guys final thoughts there must be a ton of double charges and issues this month and I encourage you to reach out and make them give refunds for just adding boxes - - #boxycharmreveal #ipsyreveal #ipsyreview #ipsyreviews #makeup #skincare #subscriptionbox #subscriptionboxes

There was some other Indy skincare items - Choice 2 - fragrance hand cream tarte lipstick in a cool color muscle gel and cleaning balm - - Choice 3 - @natashadenona lip gloss @fentybeauty body oil hair clips blush palette @ren cleansing gel - - What was missing was the @scottbarnescosmetics contour palette which is what I wanted the most and I would have gladly added it but it wasn’t an option either - - I did do the add ons I did like the #olehenriksen bundle so I added it but still salty I didn’t get the one thing I wanted @baileysarian I would think would want that as an absolute must - - I’m curious did anyone get it comment below? 💄 Ipsy Add ons - let’s look at some palettes - / One of the best benefits of @ipsy @boxycharm @fabfitfun etc are the sales and add ons the #ipsyaddons have a couple price points these were $12 - - The first is @illumanti x @eva this is a fun one (that I think I got before and it aged out ) it’s very much a #springinspired and beautiful great pigment and a fun #colorstory - - The other is tempting by @trendbeautyofficial it’s very much a #copper #neautralmakeup staple palette. 💄 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus - December 2022 💄 - - Hey guys here is @ipsy #glambagplus for December it’s def not a social bag at all being it #holiday - - Theme - #ipsyohwhatfun - - #ipsybag - it’s pink and yellow sack which I use for certain things but I do have a stockpile. It’s not holiday themed so I’m wondering why Items 💄 - @kvdbeauty powder in light it’s always good to have powder and such but this one has never really worked for me - @actandacre towel for hair I had another one from @boxycharm now I have 2 I love these and use them often - Shades of Shan blush palette this is very #indy it’s not bad and has a color range and decent pay off but no one has ever heard of them - @nycluckychick another brand k never heard of but it’s a #liquidshadow in a pretty purple with an amazing shine. Kinda like it - Araceli duo for lash and brow scissors and twizzers I could use these I love these #makeuptools - - So final thoughts it was more tools and #selfcare than #makeup and #skincare but it had no skincare it was 3 makeup items and 2 tools so I appreciate that.
