Students from Iqra University North Campus, Department of Psychology recently reminisced about their visit to Markaz-e-Umeed, where they participated in various activities that were in line with Sustainable Development Goals 3.3.5 (Mental Health Support), 4.3.4 (Quality Education), and 17.4.1 (Partnerships for Goals). Engaging in games like volleyball, artistic pursuits such as painting, acquiring skills in Pakistani sign language, and contributing to Earth Day by planting trees, they not only enjoyed themselves but also strengthened the bonds within the community. Iqra University North Campus organised an awareness session on “Dengue” with Dr. Mushtaque Ahmed Syed, Deputy Director General, Vector Borne Diseases - Health Department, Government of Sindh. He informed the audience about the important measures, precautions, and preventions being taken by the Government of Sindh in eradicating Dengue. He also urged the audience to become active members and ambassadors in helping the Dengue Management teams to spread awareness about this disease.
