K. Vishwanath is a renowned Indian film director and actor, predominantly known for his works in the Telugu film industry. He was born on February 19, 1930, in Repalle, Andhra Pradesh, India. K. Vishwanath began his career in the film industry as an actor and then moved on to work as an assistant director. He eventually made his directorial debut with the Telugu film "Aatma Gowravam" in 1965. He gained critical acclaim for his next film "Tilak" (1972) which starred N.T. Rama Rao and Devika in lead roles. Throughout his career, Vishwanath has directed over 50 films in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
