I’ve been wanting to try the Nightbloom cleansing balm from @la_bellelune for ages, as I heard people praising it so much, so I was delighted when their team reached out to ask if I wanted to try it. This one is all about making your cleansing routine a delicious ritual. The scent of honeysuckle, jasmine and rose blends with violet leaf, pink lotus and amber. I emulsified into a milky texture with warm water and does a fantastic job in cleansing off the day. An absolutely divine experience. PS. There are essential oils in this, so remember to patch test. @la_bellelune ORGANIC SKIN has been everything I imagined it to be and more. It has been on high rotation in my evening skin care routine. This is an oil elixir derived from some of the best organic plant oils. According to the official website, these nutrient rich organic oils have been specifically chosen to help nourish and heal skin overnight from everyday pollutants. This oil has a beautiful golden orange colour. This is a medium-weight oil, it is better to use at night when you want some luscious nourishment for your skin. The scent is so intoxicating yet not at all overpowering and I can't help but feel more relaxed and soothed when I use it. I enjoy the ritual of applying it so much more because of the calming aroma. It works well on its own or with any moisturiser. I’ve tried using it by mixing one pump into my moisturiser, or as the final layer to seal in everything. I even used this oil elixir on its own after washing my face and it was enough! It feels luxurious and it is non-greasy. It hasn't broken me out ,on the contrary I wake up with calmer and plumper looking skin. My skin truly did love the magic which lied within the potion. Organic skin is emptied now, I will definitely miss it in my routine. While I’m not a huge rose scent fan, this one didn’t bother me and I actually grew to like it! — Chantecaille’s Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask was my absolute fave in my whole mask collection. Contains 94% natural ingredients with rose water to rescue the skin that requires some TLC. Loved how nourishing it was and sure want it back into my routine! — the queen of all cleansing balms, @la_bellelune Witching Hour is perfect for a double cleansing routine! Emulsifies beautifully and has the right consistency to do the job it’s supposed to do! Not a sad empty as I’ve already repurchased two of these! — @asklepiosgarden Phyto-Active Facial Serum was such a delight to use! A yellow, melting, buttery balm that turns milk in contact with water and dissolves the day away with no need to rub or stress the skin. It reminds me of Deviant CC but even softer and without the grainy texture that the ladder sometimes can have. If I were to find a flaw to this beautiful product, it would be the earthy Palmarosa and Clary Sage EO scent. Not my favourite but fragrance is of course personal. Thoughtful Annabelle is preparing some new iterations and I cannot wait for them to be ready! ✨ MAYAN DEW This was a complete surprise to me and probably my favourite product from the range. The Mexican origins of the founder blossom in this lightweight, hydrating serum, free from oil and EO. Juicy botanical extracts from the desert are blended with humectants, Orange Blossom water and Vanilla extract for all the quenching my skin needs and the most irresistible, yet delicate, gourmand scent. ✨ ORGANIC SKIN A nourishing blend of rose hip, milk thistle, sweet almond, chia seed, sea buckthorn, and other moisturising plant oils. If you enjoy the relaxing scent of lavender, this would be a great option before bedtime. La Belle Lune shows that skincare can gracefully mix botanical extracts & science without the need to fall into "clean" beauty dogmas. BTW, the brand is currently having its 20% off Birthday sale. Today we’re featuring the La Belle Lune Witching Hour Cleansing Balm because we got a few questions about the texture after posting on stories the other day. In a nutshell, yes, the texture is more “melted” than you may be expecting compared to traditional balms, but after using both jars we have (separately) for a couple months now—one in a well-ventilated bathroom back at home, the other in a pretty humid bathroom—we can safely say the balm doesn’t melt any more than what you see here, ever. They seem to have nailed a soft texture with low melting temperature! Regarding performance, this is one of our favorite cleansing balms ever. It’s one of those herbal/earthy luxury balms, so you can just stand there in front of the cabinet mirror for a solid five minutes massaging your face, or you can do a quick 60-second rinse and still get all of your complexion makeup, sunscreen, mascara, eyeliner, glitters, etc. off in that time. A beautiful and well-done product overall, we don’t have much else to say! Despite the name, it’s just heavenly. 😍 I love the texture. I love the smell. I love the packaging. I love the brand… the samples of their other products that I tried were equally exciting… especially Organic Skin which smells incredible. I am SOOOOO excited that today is the last day of Winter 💃 My skin has been so dry and dehydrated this year, and I have been reaching out a lot more to face oils. @la_bellelune Organic Skin has been on high rotation in my evening skin care routine. I have tried this face oil in the past and now I can't imagine not having it in my routine 😆💜 . . It is super light weight and blends in well with my moisturiser. Three amazing products from @la_bellelune — have you tried them? Witching Hour* is a balm cleanser with poppy, apricot and hemp seed oils. It’s super buttery to apply and melts beautifully, removing all makeup and spf without giving me the dreaded cloudy eyes, and emulsifies easily to be removed with a flannel. It’s become one of my favourite cleansers and I’ll definitely repurchase when l’m out. Mayan Dew*, the serum designed for daytime, is hydrating, lightweight and really refreshing on the skin. It sinks in quickly without being sticky, has a fair whack of glycerin as well as a host of botanicals, and hasn’t pilled under any other product. Oh and it smells lovely! The biggest surprise for me has been the Organic Skin* oil. I’ve never got along with rosehip seed oil, which is the first ingredient here, but I absolutely adore this oil blend. It’s a moisturising, soothing, radiance-enhancing oil party and it’s beautiful. It leaves my skin glowy but not greasy, and is great on top of actives or just as a one and done. 🌘 This is one of my all time favorite cleansers. It’s so gentle yet very efficiently removes SPF and make up. Emulsifies beautifully and skin is left soft and clean. I know some people think it’s unnecessary to spend a lot on this step in a skincare routine. Cleansing is something I fully enjoy and I prefer to chose by pleasure and efficiency rather than price. But that’s just me ✨ That being said I think this one gives good value and the 100 ml goes quite a long way. The texture is gorgeous and the scent is subtle and pleasant.
