As a 2-year-old, I used to remember phone numbers at the tip of my fingers, as told by my mother. And yes, I was one among the toppers in my class as well. First in studies, cultural, sports, you name it. For sure such a student would be any teacher's pet. So was I. But life won't remain constant throughout. After experiencing years of pampering, in 7th grade I sensed my dark days hitting me sharply like a thunder. From being an embryo to a neonate to a massive giant, my problems multiplied and grew to heights I could ever bear. I could see all that I had gained over the years burn in the flame of jealousy, jealousy of my dear best friends. I was blamed upon every unusual thing that happened in school. My name was taken randomly for every eve-teasing which happened in class. My friends went to the extent of even spreading rumors that I had lost my virginity! I was bleeding! Bleeding internally. I had nowhere to turn to. Even my parents believed the rest of them and branded everything as "my fault". My innocence, not able to speak back boldly, my kindness was taken as an advantage to back-stab me. Every single day I struggled to wake up and go to school. My happiest part of every day was my sleep, as I could forget the lie of the day and dive into the peaceful truth. And with all the pain, picking up the broken pieces of oneself together, I passed my 10th grade with a decent score. After joining PU, I was determined and made myself a promise to show each and everyone who insulted me and made me face the worst days of my life, that “I was not the one being portrayed all these years but I am who I am!” With the grace of God, today I proudly add a prefix before my name. "Dr." To serve humanity in these difficult times. Of course, today people contact me on social media to ask a little medical help, the same old people who tried to ruin my name!
