We want to give a huge shoutout to Daniel Villanueva, Co-Founder & Creative Director of @lucidskies.io, for coming out to Pacoima Middle School to talk with our Tech & ARts students about his career and entrepreneurship journey!✨ Daniel, who grew up in the community and attended Pacoima Middle School himself, shared his story of creating Lucid Skies, an Augmented Reality (AR) Production Studio. He talked about studying Computer Science at Cal Poly Humboldt and working for the U.S. government and Twitter after graduating. With Lucid Skies, Daniel combines his passion for music and technology, using AR to inspire young people to explore art, technology, and community. Our students were excited to learn about Lucid Skies' projects, such as a mural in Reseda that, when scanned, reveals a Meso-American world, and they had fun playing with the interactive hand sensor.
