Day 1252 Releasing some poor emotions 🙏🏻🧘🏻♀️ For two days, this little one has yet to released her little sadness of missing her dear friend. Today, a little trigger caused her crying for the whole 30mins. She was highly aware that “I just need to cry a little bit.” And wouldn’t let me fry her tears. What mummy could do is simply being there for her and giving her cuddle while she cried. Later on, she cheered herself up by building herself a giant castle with building blocks and singing. For sure, this little one has great potential to be a self healer. Day 1175 “mummy, let’s build something.” Thanks to auntie @lauren_charlotte_1984 who ever got her her first Lego box for her two-year-old birthday, she has been in love with Legos. When we went to Disneyland, Mina pointed at the Disney x Legos 100Celebration advertisement and said she wanted one. Hence, we went Legos shopping yesterday. Immediately home, she asked me to “build together” and we sat quiet building together for almost two hours before and after dinner to finish this set. Day 1161-1166 🇮🇩 A certified well-travelled little girl’s delightful journey to Bali ☀️🏝️🐚👙🏊🏻♀️🩴🌈 “Learning the art of unlearning and replacing old learning with a new learning is the true learning.” ~ Invaj To celebrate mummy and daddy’s anniversary, we travelled to Bali and have enjoyed the love from the nature. It is easier to dine out with her as she knows exactly what she would like for the day, whether it is noddles or rice or spaghetti, and it becomes easier for us to pick restaurants. Besides, she is more adaptive in dining whenever as long as she is having fun and she is never one of those crying toddlers who refuse to leave or end anything she is doing when mummy says it is time to go. Even our flights are either past mid night or early in the morning, she is just so cooperative in getting ready and go. In places surrounding with many other kids speaking different languages, she is happy to share her toys and tells others when she needs them back or expresses whether she is happy to play with others depending on what she feels. She can be loud and excited when playing or racing swimming with bigger kids and she can be gentle and helpful when building sandy castle 🏰🪣 with younger kids. Being exposed to a new culture, she shows appreciation in everything she is experiencing and learns the Bali god worshipping rituals from making offering baskets to energy cleansing ceremony with blessed water in the temple. Mina was already in mummy’s tummy when parents last visited plus daddy mummy took some of their pre-wedding photos here, so taking her to places we have been now feels extra special. 🐼 It is also Mina’s first time seeing pandas 🎋 Another reason that we wanna visit Macau is that mummy’s best friends live here and we are super grateful that they always make us super VIP by taking us to all the nice places.
