atelier fugosen 革製品のアトリエ フゴセン お客様にご愛用頂いてたコインケースがリペアのため、こちらに戻って参りました 「ボックスカーフ」、またはシンプルに「ボックス」 と呼ばれるタイプの素材を使用した物で 同じくボックスに類するレザーを使用したコインケースと並べてみておりますが 定番色は黒・ダークブラウン(・白)と少なく、他の色はやや特殊なようです 基本的には非常に水準の高い原皮からしか製造出来ないとされるレザーで フランスの名門と呼ばれるタンナー(革の製造所)で鞣された物ですが このボックスに類するレザーは、同社で製造されているレザーの中でも一際高い位置付けがされているようです 滑らかで張りのある表面とやや硬めの質感が特徴の素材であるかと思いますが 使い込まれた物はややクタッとした質感で、使用時の革の動きは柔らか 握り込むようにすると非常に使い易くなるのが当工房のコインケースの特徴です リペアの内容としては特に擦れが発生し易い、折り曲げ部に糸切れが 革製品の手縫いによる縫製は、ミシン縫いと比べて糸切れが起こった際もステッチが弛み難いため 切れた箇所からそれほど糸も解けず留まっておりましたが 今回は一度全てを解いて再縫製を 真鍮製ホックは摩耗で上蓋の閉まりがゆるくなっておりましたが こちらは金具の交換の際に大きな負荷がかかる場合がありますので、片側の金具の向きを回転させる応急処置をし 本格的な金具の交換は次回に先送りとしました 経年による変化が起こらないとも言われている、このボックスと呼ばれる素材ですが 質感の変化は勿論、ゆっくりと品の良い美しい光沢が現れておりました 商品を設計する時点でリペアが可能な構造でお造りしておく事が勿論重要ではあるのですが ご要望頂いた際は状況を見つつ、より長くお付き合い頂けるような修繕のご提案をさせて頂いております。 #革製品#革小物#レザーグッズ #leathergoods#レザークラフト #leathercraft #小銭入れ#コインケース #coincase #ボックスカーフ#ボックス #box #boxcalf #dupuy#デュプイ #marocalf#マロカーフ #haas #手縫い #handstitch #saddlestitch #エイジング#経年変化#リペア #repair #atelierfugosen#フゴセン#革工房#革職人
