Lake Mattamuskeet Lodge - We had the opportunity to have a tour inside the building. I was able to climb to the top of the tower! Amazing views from the tower. It was built in 1911. Located on Lake Mattamuskeet at the Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge They are working in restoring the facilities. Finally, Jeff told me, he’s here, Ufff, I ran, but carefully so as not to scare him away. He go into the deer carcass to eat, tear off a little piece of meat and come out. There were many grasses that prevented me from taking a clear photo, but I was able to take some. This is one of them.
