Day 7 Amsterdam Luisa and I have been working on holiday time, that is by waking up early, eating our chocolate croissants and scrambled eggs in bed and taking our time before exploring #wereonholidays Although the cream of the crop, or should I say the screaming match of the morning was LUISA, not me, blocking the toilet and then blaming me because I had gone before her 🤣 and then complaining because I wasn't being supportive or helping her even though she wouldn't let me into the bathroom... apparently laughing at your partner's dilemma is somehow insensitive 🤣 #nowinning #havetolaugh #cloggedthetoilet By the time we got out of bed we were super productive 😜...and booked a @freedamtours where our intrepid guide Sergio gave us the tour of a lifetime. For almost 3 hours we walked the town and learnt all about Dutch history, trade, religion and scandal, prostitution and drugs and other little sneaky fun bits of trivia we promised not to tell #whoknew #besttourever #freedamtours Sergio's recommendations sent us to cute little @eetcafesonneveld where we had the most deliciously warm and tasty potato and leak soup, with an entree of bread fit for a family! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to try a Hollandse Stamppot, a mash of veggies served with a sausage and or a meatball with Gravy 🤤 #drooldrool Who could forget the 5 or so beers we had to go with it , nothing like having a cold drink when it's only a couple degree outside #haveabeerbecausewhynot Day 8... #amsterdam #whirlwindadventure #needaredlight #callmelinda
