AstroAlert - The planet of energy and action, Mars, has slipped into the realm of intuition and empathy, Pisces. This is an interesting combo of energies and I am actually hopeful it could bring a bit of peace into this war torn world. Mars, which is ruled by the God of War, Aries, has been in it's own sign for awhile and we can see how intense things have felt recently. Well now it is as though all that tension has taken a cold shower and we can calm down for a bit. I am really hoping that Mars in Pisces will temper the coming Mercury Retrograde and Total Solar Eclipse which are both happening in Aries. It's not going to turn everything to Zen, but it can give us the emotional bandwidth, insight and wisdom to handle what's coming once we enter April. I will write more about the retrograde and the eclipse as we get closer. I will also give tips on how to channel the strengths and minimize the weaknesses of that time. But for today I wanted to share a little sigh of relief. I have only a few caveats for Mars in Pisces. One is the tendency to over-indulge in everything so watch your intake and, if you are going to party, take an uber. Another is to be careful of folks peddling high ticket illusions as we are all a bit more gullible under this influence. If something seems too good to be true, do your research before you say yes cause it just might be. Pay extra attention to your gut feelings as intuition will be running high. If you even suspect something is a stinker, walk away. All in all, I am pleased with this transit and feel it may be the chill pill we have been seeking. It wont take away everything terrible but it could provide us some grace during this eclipse/retrograde season. Mars will stay in Pisces now till 4.30.
