Clinging on to pumpkin spice season just a little bit longer🥹🍂🧡 The client here was a natural level 5. I used a high-lift color on her new growth and let that process until I was left with a raw level 7/8. Then I used a Demi-permanent mix of coppers and reds as a toner all over processing for full time. After that was processed i could call it quits…Buuuut more is more so I like to seal everything in with a direct-dye mask. Slowly lowering the ph while remaining ON LEVEL to make sure that when my client goes to wash her hair in a couple days her color doesn’t slip right out. Also hello shine✨✨ Major 🔑: my preference is to 1 not use lightner because I simply just don’t need that much lift or to break down the hair strand that much in order to get vivid red/copper results. 2 lift to level of desire. When working with reds it is almost always the best to tone on level to remain intensity and vibrance. I always think if I want copper, why would I lift past that?
