Символічна ціна за квиток і купа приємних вражень.. До речі, ціна включала відвідування як ґалереї, так і музею. Музейна експозиція розміщена у восьми залах, які знайомлять з загальною географічною характеристикою Диканського району, з його природними умовами, корисними копалинами, рослинним і тваринним світом. Експозиція музею висвітлює історію краю з найдавніших часів до кінця XIX ст., а також історію роду князів Кочубеїв. У кінці можна побачити відео, де трошки розповідається про Палац Кочубеїв. Я думаю, ще матиму можливість побувати на місці, де раніше розташовувалася їхня садиба, тож, по можливості, і про це згодом розповім 🥰 Одними з найдавніших експонатів є знахідки археологів з Олефірщинського могильника — курганного могильника скіфського часу. Тематиці неспокійного ХХ ст., голодомору 1932—1933 рр., Другій світовій війні, післявоєнної відбудови краю приділено окремі експозиції музею. Постійно оновлюється і поповнюється матеріалами експозиція залу сучасності — останнього залу музею. ✅ Серед експонатів варто побачити: * ковану металеву скриню часів І. Мазепи і В. Кочубея * половецьку статую, виготовлена із рихлого крупнозернистого пісковику * сволок 1741 року * локомобіль * посмертну маску М. В. Viktor Yanukovych was President at the time and fled to Russia when it became clear the protesters were taking control. He is wanted now to stand trial for authorizing live ammunition (including automatic weapons and sniper rifles) against unarmed civilians. From Russia, almost exactly a year ago, he answered the charge with "How could I be responsible? I was playing tennis at the time."

This is the family home of sculptor Mykola Golovan, who began this project in 1979 along with his son, also a sculptor. After his son died of a heart attach at age 32, Mykola bought back all of his son's sculptures from private owners and continues to work on this house in his memory. Mykola lives here with his wife and daughter.

After 17,000 Jews were killed in a 4-day period in 1942 by the Nazi-run Ukrainian Auxiliary Police, the synagogue was without a congregation. After standing empty for a bit, in 1981 it was reconstructed into a gym, the sports complex “Dynamo.”

Ukraine 🇺🇦 Volyn Oblast (Волинська область). Lutsk (Луцьк / Luc’k). Lutheran Church. That’s what they call it here. But it’s actually a Baptist Church. Here’s what happened. Following annexation to the Russian Empire in 1795, Volyn was colonized by Germans thanks to the encouragement of the government which sought to extend agriculture and industry. The German colonies grew rapidly. As most Germans were Lutherans, the Germans obtained permission to build a Lutheran church. It’s what you see here, completed in 1907. But then came World War II, and naturally the German colonists were kicked out of the Soviet Union. The church remained empty until restoration by the Baptist community in the 1990s. So now it’s Baptist.
