I’ve had such a lovely day today! 😄 I’ve not done an outside event since THE week of CHAOS and palaver I had at Christmas time last year 😬 Losing not only my gazebo to the storms but then also saying goodbye to my trusty little van in the very same week 😭 I took it as a sign from the universe to take a step sideways and to not do my usual, regular outside events for the time being 💫 In the meantime I’ve been doing only indoor events and local deliveries/collections alongside also supplying to my lovely wholesale orders 🌙 A couple of days after making my ‘revolutionary’ decision of not doing outdoor events anymore, I was asked to participate in the Dog Show at the Beacon Country Park 🐶 As it’s so close to home, and I also did the event a couple of years ago with my good friend Lucy from the amazing @graciousgrub , I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a go 🤞🏼 I’m so glad I did, as although it was a slow start and I was feeling quite apprehensive (I was tucked away in the back corner behind the smell and smoke of the wild boar stall next to me 👀), suddenly as soon as lunchtime hit I was inundated with lovely hungry vegans who wanted savouries for lunch and their sweet treats for the afternoon 💚 It reminded me of the reason why I love so much doing what I’m doing ✨ Having people come back for seconds, and even people telling me that they’re not vegan but they’ve tried my treats and come back for more, has given me such a boost and a happy feeling💥 Today was the last of the events of this year I’ve got planned 🙏🏼 For the time being, I’m now focusing my time on my wholesale orders and also supplying the many lovely people who order full cakes and bakes for their weekends and events (I see you all, thank you so much) 💞 My website and DMs are always open for your cakes, sweet bakes and savoury batch orders which I will always deliver or have them ready to collect if preferred 🧿 Here’s a photo of my ‘Sausage’ rolls for attention ✨ Thank you all again for today, and all the orders recently, looking forward to the next chapter and focusing my time on creating new bakes and treats for you all 💞
