Day 3 of the Penguin Palace new release countdown! Today, I’m thrilled to showcase a simple yet powerful card featuring the ‘My Superhero’ stamp set and coordinating dies. I started by die-cutting an arch window and creating a dramatic night scene with dark blue ink as the backdrop. Next, I added the cityscape to the middle ground, setting the stage for our superheroes to swoop in and save the day. For the foreground, I selected the sentiment: “You are a super bro! Thanks for coming to my rescue!” to express my gratitude to my brother. I used white embossing powder to heat embossing and ink blended with a blending brush, then cut it out with the coordinating die. I placed the cut hexagons into the spaces cut out by the Hexagon Geo Cover Die. It's so fun. It’s Day 2 of the Penguin Palace new release countdown! Today, I’m excited to share another 3D display card featuring the ‘Rock Climbing’ stamp set and coordinating dies. Using the @lawnfawn platform die, I crafted a double platform and inked it with ‘old paper’ distress ink to set the stage. Then, I arranged the indoor rock climbing scene, complete with rock walls, climbing holds, ropes, safety mats, and adventurous climbers. The sentiments “Hang in there, my friend” and “The best views come after the hardest climb” add a touch of encouragement. This card is perfect for lifting someone’s spirits and brightening their day.
