Matt Cardinal and I updated the album art, and I have decided to call the full length record “Love to Give” Some of this record is about struggling through COVID, loss of friends, not being able to perform live for what felt like forever, hopelessness, darkness, and feeling like I was drowning under the weight of everything. However, a lot of the record is also about the light at the end of the tunnel. References to the Sun, and sunlight as happiness that shines through the dark. The love we give, and (hopefully) receive that gets us through the toughest of times. Most all of this record was written at a time that I was struggling mentally with many changes like becoming a father, and not knowing what the hell I was doing or what I was going to do. I’m so happy that everything has worked out the way it has, because I was honestly really scared for a long while. I’m also beyond happy and grateful to have Echo by my side. I would not be here without her strength, and her love! A lot of this record is about her. My one true love. I owe her everything and more. Thank you for everything you do baby. I love you so much!
