I started with lots of enthusiasm for the #30platesin30days project. I had a whole list of ideas! This was my one and only result, but I am very proud of it. I tried a few different techniques I have never used before and loved the results. Those techniques included adding slip texture, applying black underglaze and then wiping to remove it, and also bubble glazing. I’ve added some close up photos to show it off. My mom is known as the “blueberry lady” every summer 🫐. My parents have 6 huge blueberry bushes in their backyard and she is out there at least once a day picking (the 5th picture is from 2 days of pick). This is the only berry bowl that will be available in the update. I FINALLY fired my kiln after 6 months and was very happy with some things and others were a major disappointment.
