Our pious, loving Maya. She is one love-bug of a cow. Everyone from visitors to caretakers to herd mates find a place in her immense heart and she showers them with affection, cuddles and licks. He belongs to āMalanadu Giddaā breed local to the region. His former owner was keeping him so that he gets a higher price from butchers (In that region live cows/bulls are weighed & sold as per weight meat value). As he grew to be an adult of around 5-6 years, his former owner started trying to sell him off to butchers. With Bhagwan's prerna, we got to know of the situation. Thus, he was forced to give Sarvi off. However, being a kasargod dwarf cow who give less milk on average and being sold at this age (she is around 5 years of age) would have landed her in the hands of butcher brokers and other such ghouls. Our handsome Sadashiv. Like his namesake Lord Mahadev, this young boy is most pious and innocent. Yet his prior life didn't do any justice to this divine boy. He was earlier a street calf who lived on the road and foraged in garbage bins looking for morsels of food. He braved nature's elements and suffered human abuse. Then one day he was probably hit by a vehicle on the highway. The human ghouls in the vehicle didn't care one bit for that crying and injured boy and sped away. He lay unattended in the side of the road for a few days and stared into the dark abyss of certain death. But with Lord's benign kripa, Kalyani ji found him cold and starving with severe injuries. Barely a week old, Aravind has been recently rescued from being sold off to butchers. This humble boy came from chengalpet. Born a baby bull, Aravind was disdained from birth itself. Maadhava: 'Yes, each time this human comes, I expect some laddoos & treats from him - a very justified quid pro quo for posing by a superstar like me. But each time he simply snaps my pictures, praises my pose and goes away - Is this justified? Certainly Not!' Maadhava came to us in October 2021 from Mangalore. He belongs to āMalanadu Giddaā breed local to the region. His former owner was keeping him so that he gets a higher price from butchers (In that region live cows/bulls are weighed & sold as per weight meat value). As he grew to be an adult of around 5-6 years, his former owner started trying to sell him off to butchers. With Bhagwan's prerna, we got to know of the situation. A very kind devotee of Bhagwan, Mr. Rajaram purchased him off to prevent butchers from getting their hands on him. Thus, this innocent boy was saved, and he came to us. Maadhava has since been living in our gausadan. Maadhava is a very sweet lad. Humble, peaceful & easy going - There is not one bad bone in his body! A kind and devout Parivar - vamsikrshna ji and family mercifully welcomed him into their loving hearts.
