I turned 47 earlier this year, the age my mom was when she passed away, and it triggered a time of great reflection. I vowed to spend the year living in a place of gratitude and outside my comfort zone. Gratitude felt easy because my life is filled with many blessings — family, dear friends, love and good health. Outside my comfort zone, I had to seek it out and Zion national park was just the place to find it. I pushed myself physically and mentally harder than ever before. I faced my fears climbing to the top of Angels landing and repelling 80 ft into a Canyon and it felt amazing to accomplish 🙌🏻 Thank you #Scottberrie for encouraging me to go outside my comfort zone and for always being game for adventure 🙌🏻❤️
