“That’s why her hair is so big… it’s full of secrets!” People have told me this before, and it is true. I have many things that people may not know about me. For instance, I think of myself as an extroverted introvert. I have bold visions for my business, but I am afraid of putting myself out there for the fear of being judged or perceived in a negative light. I come across as this confident woman behind the lens but there are insecurities of being judged within the lens. As I dive into 2022, I will not let fear take away my dreams. My motto for this year is to be FEARLESS. I am a fierce warrior for God. This year, I have big ideas and I cannot wait to see them come to fruition. I made a promise to myself that I will no longer will live in fear. I will move forward and be the person God created me to be. Each one of us is carefully crafted by the creator himself. There is no other YOU in this world. No one else has the same talents and skills as you do. Each of us have so many gifts that God has given to us. I took the biggest risk of my life starting my own photography business. I dove into the unknown and I had no idea how this ALL was going to play out. I took that chance. I want each of you to take that chance and take those risks. Do not be afraid of what anyone else thinks! Embrace the unknown. Remember, you have two choices everyday: “Repeat or Evolve” — what will you take?

When I see sunflowers I instantly smile! Anyone else? I remember growing up with sunflowers all over my house and when I see them now, they make my homesick and I have to call my mom. 😂
Let's talk about the importance of engagement photos. This is a fabulous time to get a feel for your photographer, how they give directions, and how to best interact with each other (you, your partner, and the photographer). Spending the morning or evening with your photographer during your engagement shoot helps them discover the best way to photograph you together, how you move together and what type of jokes get the best laugh. The engagement shoot also helps you on the wedding day and what to expect. The fear of “I don’t know what to do with my hands” is left non-existent! I can't tell you how many grooms see me on the wedding day and say, " I already know... Hand in my pocket and thumb out!" haha. It's my favorite thing to hear! Having a relationship with your photographer built BEFORE your wedding day ensures that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited for your upcoming wedding photos.

Wedding Tip: This question is frequently asked in Facebook wedding groups I'm in. "How many guests should I invite to my wedding?" To be honest... It would be best if you weren't asking this question in a Facebook group with loads of strangers who don't know you. You should be asking this question to your fiance and reword it as " Who can we not imagine getting married without?" Once you ask yourself that question... The guest list will be easy to figure out!

Where do you live and how is covid-19 affecting you? Times are hard now for everyone. I’ve been trying to support small business knowing how small business are affected being one myself. Being inside has been a struggle along with homeschooling the boys but we are definitely getting use to it. We play in the back yard , read, do family exercises , paint, bubble time along with FaceTiming family, friends and more to keep our minds busy . Though I know I still struggle with this quarantine stage even with all the many things we are doing. I think everyone is to an extent. So if you are need someone to talk to you are not alone. Anyone feel free to reach out and let’s talk! I love chatting, FaceTiming and making new friends during this time and have actually been super grateful for it! This weekends Arizona wedding was UNREAL! Alaina & Cody’s wedding just blew me away These ladies were 🔥 and we had SO much fun together!
