3 months exact until Baby S due date! I enter my 3rd trimester next week and I can’t believe how quick the last 6 months have flown by and I am ready for these next 3 to fly by even faster so I can have our sweet girl in my arms and Briar can be a big sister! Baby girl is 17 weeks today...size of a pomegranate and 5 inches! Living in sneakers every day for the sake of my back! My 3 most asked questions I’ve been getting DM’d: 1. Do you have a name for her yet? Absolutely not. Mike and I can’t agree on a name. He likes girly traditional names and I like unique boys names for girls 🤷🏽♀️ time will only tell 2. Have I felt her move yet? Still patiently waiting on that to happen...hoping in the next couple weeks I will. 3. “I can’t believe how soon you are showing” This isn’t a question more so remarks from y’all! It doesn’t surprise me that I’m already showing...I hold majority of my weight in my stomach, thighs and booty. And instead of being one of those girls that would have cute rolls when they sat down in their bikini at the pool I always had bloat pouch! So I figured from the way I carry my bloat that it wouldn’t take long for me to start showing! Also, I want to thank y’all for the sweet comments and messages! I don’t want to turn this into a Mom/baby blog. I am going to continue doing what I do and incorporate some of it in as I go since it will become my new life just like when I got a dog and just like when I fell for that cowboy. I do know that I want to avoid maternity clothing if possible (aside from jeans/leggings/bottoms since I truly can’t control that) but I plan to continue to shop for regular clothes and just size up in them as I grow to accommodate the bump. But again time will tell and that could change when I start to get bigger. What are your thoughts on Golden Goose sneaks? Obsessed? Can’t stand them? $$$? Dirty? So comfy? I can say I was on the hate train for awhile and then I started to find this soft spot for them in my heart and now I want all the GG’s! I just got my 2nd pair (hence the post) I couldn’t believe the price on them and I couldn’t believe people would pay $500 for dirty sneakers. Okay WELL...you can find a pair that aren’t dirty looking and you can also get a pre-owned pair or on sale so you can save your money! I have found my two pairs on Poshmark (both authentic & worn once...you know because the bottom of the sole is wood...thanks to one of my sweet customers told me that the other day)! WHY DO I LOVE THEM? If I had it my way I would wear my Nike frees every day all day but sometimes they just aren’t cute with certain things so I pulled the trigger. These are SO comfortable..they don’t need to be broken in like so many other sneakers I have bought. The sole is so thick and cushioned. I work in retail I’m on my feet all day my knees and back kill me. I wanted comfort, fashion and functionality! I love my superstars so much I fell in love with this floral design in hi stars for spring. I will say my superstars are more comfortable than my hi stars but I think because they are platform it’s a stiffer sole so you have to get used to it but they are still so comfy! I can attests that these have been well worth the investment and worn so many times.
