Today is a very monumental moment in the Skystang chapter. I am pleased to say that i have officially completed everything on my part besides the interior. For the first time in a very long time, it's all in one piece, and im just blown away. Only this left to do is take it to The Man Brock Bogue to build the complete turbo system, including turbo manifolds. Then hopefully, i can take it to Haltech in Lexington, Ky, to have them make me an engine harness to the 2500 Elite ecu, IC-7 dash, pump, and whatnot from bumper to bumper. And then hopefully (if god welling) dyno tuning to hopefully hit that 1,000whp goal! Had to fab up a custom angel mount bracket for the treadstone intercooler! Had to modify the CSP bash bar to be able to fit that big a§§ intercooler! Magnafuel 750 fuel pump is finally mounted! This 2000hp fuel pump is fine mounted exactly how i imagined it would go, it a very nice and neat spot easy to access just incase! And this tome i got a 1/2" rubber (65 durometer) to go under it the prevent vibration and noise inside the car (because last time this this was ANNOYING AF) and mounted its all down using threaded rivet nuts! UPR, YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! Another amazing part made but UPR PRODUCTS this company just does outstanding work 👏 ! Rear coilover conversion paired with Eibach Pro-Damper struts! Success! I finally got my Strange rear end put together and installed, and what a pai it was trying to put it in without scratching it all up wiyh was a fail lol but i touched it up tho 😆... thx to my wife for helping me balance it and i finally put it in ... thank god! WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! My old 8.8 mach1 rear differential look brand new again, but i tell u what this thing broke me especially my back! Bu all i did was drain the oil and popped open the cover and pulled the axles out; then began removing/cutting off the ols quad shock mounts that was welling on yhe rear differential tubes and grinded it down smooth like it was never the BECAUSE WITH UPR PRODUCTS CONTROL ARMS YOU DONT NEED THAT JUNK NO MORE!!! I also welded up the axle tubes to the housing and the 6 spot welds, also the tops of the lower control arm brackets to the tubes . This is exactly why i do my own work now! You see i can always pay someone to do the work to my cal and hell it might even be done by now, but u seeits crap like this that maks me feel so happy im doing the work myself, looking things over 3-4 times before saying its perfect or complete! So u payed someone that i know to have these put in witch we're a granatelli adjustable upper rear control arms along with energy suspension upper control arm polyurethane bushings and thay got the old rubber bushings out and couldn't for the life of them put it in or even put the control arms on, then thay called me and told me that then said did u buy some ebay just and i was like hell no, so i showd up there and thay trimed down the bushings and cut the sides and called it done! Well come to find out years later i finally know why, thay left the old damn sleeves in the rear differential still when thay should have taken it out! Screm Speed - Ford 5.0 Coyote Swap Throttle Pedal Support Bracket This thing was an absolute life saver after doing the DBW swap now it was time to tackle the 2018-2022 throttle pedal issue! But this Bracket from scrrem speed saved my a** and i had to do was bolt it in after i cut off one of the mounting tabs because it was useless and it might have given me fitment issues so it had to go. Then i just had to do something about the black paddle, I had to som how make the mach1 throttle paddle fit so i cut the back of the bkake off and made it flat, then i cut one side of the DBW paddle so the mach1 paddle would fitt with out the other on sticking out from underneath it, i simply placed it where i wanted it and drilled 2 holes, and used 2 stainless steel button head screws and that was it ... Finally! My dream has turned into reality. This is the throttle body i have been wanting to do and with a haltech 2500 elite standalone ecu my dreams of makeing this car a DBW (drive-by wire) car an be done. So with the help of a friend that is a bada** CNC Machinists he made me a custom adapter plate with o-rings to fit a Gen 3 5.0L V8 Coyote 80mm stock throttle body to a edelbrock 3848 intake elbow wish the LS bolt pattern that was already there and made a billet aluminum with a 28° angle to follow the contour of the intake for hood clearance then clocked the throttle body to make threaded holes for it and put o-rings on the front/back! And just like that BOOM IT FITS!!! I had to modify the power steering pump but in order for me to do that i had to search all the auto parts store to find the right pump that is made of aluminum not steel! Then i bought all the fitting that i neede on the hight pressure side witch is 6AN to 5/8"-18 and for the low pressure side i bought 3 different fittings 6AN to 1/4 NPT and 1/4" NPT female both sides also and 1/4" NPT male both sides. Then i got a steel 1/4" tap and a steel 7/16" drill bit but first i had to clearance the side wherebthe hole is to fit the fitting. So i started grinding little by little till it was perfect! Then i put it all together and painted it and BOOM ...
