Happy (I)NSD my sparkly friends!! I am here with #mayiscrapliftyou day 4 and a @spiegelmom_scraps DT project. I thought I would give an extra special pride of place to my gorgeous sequins!! My idea was to create a "trellis" of sparkly goodness to record the date the buds made their appearance in my neck of the woods. Birthday Crew How behind are you on your scrapbooking? 😅 this layout is documenting my daughters first birthday party (she maybe is turning 7 this month!!) with all of her friends and family celebrating her! January!! Only one more winter month left 😮 how?!? It just started! I used lots of lovely paper to create this. Metallics, glitter, heavy, and some chipboard. lots of glitter, shimmery, sparkling going on this month! Used Cougar White for the month, adding sparkle goodness with sequins, on shimmer white cardstock. Metallic Azalea, metallic Rose Quartz, metallic Lagoon, Metallic Aquamarine, and Metallic Eris used in DCS White Glutter to create the days of the week, and the dates, topped with some Nuvo for extra pop. All are back using Chipboard to make extra sturdy. Using the same metallic cardstock, and a few pop tone colors, I created the die cuts, also backing them with chipboard and using some sequins and Nuvo for added embellishment. Dies and sequins equal gorgeous and versatile shakers. The large one can be a card front (I used a stencil and texture paste for the background) or a December album insert. The smaller one fits perfectly in a 3X4 pocket but can also be a feature on a card, or even used as a tree ornament! Day 9 in my Decemeber Daily is all about my christmas tree and new items added to make is wonderful. I used a full page photo of my tree and then a page protector and made two shaker pockets on the top with a felt number 9. I used ‘Moonshine’, ‘Silver Spectacle’ and ‘Gold Stardust’ for each shaker from @spiegelmom_scraps These colors over my photo which is mostly black, silver and gold worked perfectly together.
