One of my favorite things I got to do for my own wedding was choosing the place settings! I did two very different styles - one for the rounds and one for the rectangle tables! And then a third fun one for our sweetheart! The only piece that was consistent on each table was the menu - otherwise each style had their own linen print, chair, charger, plate, flatware, goblet and napkin print!! Filed under: weird things I do… If you’re doing your first dance right after introductions, I love to have the wedding party “circle” around the dance floor so that A) they have a front row seat to the dance and aren’t trying to find their seats B) it looks so good in photos! You get to capture the wedding parties expressions and it just looks nice as a backdrop for the first dance. Better than a buffet or something in the background?!
