🇺🇸 Spotted in an early morning through the spotting scope in the distance, I knew the kind of buck we were after. It was that kind of buck that your dream of and that could possible make the hunter a bit nervous. Our chances of getting him vanished when the cracks of the frozen ground alerted two females. Studying the strategy for that evening, I knew our chances were high. Just as we quietly sat down on the spot that we had chosen in the morning and lifted my binos to glass…there he was. The rest will surely be ever lasting memories for our hunter and myself. Out of the different European countries where we hunt, Spain is without any doubt the best destination for roebuck hunting. 🇺🇸 One of the things that I like the most about roe buck hunting in this time of the year is that you can pretty much hunt them for the whole day. In fact, early mornings are so cold that over the years, I have learned that it’s not always necessary to wake up too early as they usually start moving way after sunrise. This beautiful and great buck showed up just when we were taking off our jackets. Another happy hunter! Now, let’s go and celebrate it with a cold beer and some Spanish jamón. 🇺🇸 ~ ~ 🇪🇸 Una de las cosas que más me gustan de cazar corzos en esta época del año es que se pueden cazar durante prácticamente todo el dÃa.
