Finalmente logramos cambiar las llantas de 17” que nunca me han gustado del 3.0R, a por unas 18” que vienen de un Legacy Blitzen japonés (2da foto de ref). Según logré averiguar en net este modelo solo se comercializo en Japón y fue una colaboración de Porsche x Subaru que realizaban en los modelos Legacy. Con el cambio el auto le dio un look y personalidad totalmente diferente a lo que era, se ve mucho con más carácter sin perder lo elegante. Ademas agregué una modificación temporal solo por probar, los neblineros en color amarillos que me hacen nostalgia a los clásicos JDM 80’ como el Toyota AE86. Потихоньку приходим к «рестайлу». Был куплен комплект для переделки салона из дореста в рест. Luego de que murió el radiador original del Legacy, aprovechamos en hacer un upgrade y pasamos a uno de aluminio mucho mas grande y mejor flujo (mejorando las temperaturas al exigirlo), además aumentando el deposito de expansión de 2L. El radiador lo compramos para el modelo WRX GRB, pero como el EZ30 tiene 2 entradas superiores tuvimos que mandar a modificar, en lo que quedo 10/10 funcionando con los electros originales. After the original radiator of the Legacy died, we took the opportunity to upgrade to an aluminum one (improving temperatures under stress) and increased the expansion tank capacity to 2L. We bought the radiator for the WRX GRB model, but since the EZ30 has two upper inlets, we had to send it for modification. Con el Legacy estuvimos presentes en el WRC 2023 del día 28/09 de la ruta cabrero, para llegar la verdad fue bastante incomodo por la suspensión (de la publicación anterior), definitivamente el auto no está para caminos de ripio. 627 whp, 601 wtq is what it made. It's been a long time to get to this point. I first swapped an EZ30 into my car 5 years ago. I built nearly everything for the swap and turbo myself. All the exhaust. Intercooler pipes. Wiring. Tuning. Everything. And I had nothing but problems for 5 years. I had issues with 2 different ECUs that were unresolvable. I finally threw a @link_ecu G4X XtremeX in last year and solved my ECU problems for good. I also had high RPM oil pressure issues that made keeping main and rod bearings alive for any length of time very difficult. I tried everything I could think of across multiple engines before finally deciding on starting over with the EZ36 platform with one of @outfrontmotorsports destroked EZ32 engines. This engine has perfect oil pressure to 7000 RPM and I have a lot of confidence in it at this point. 627/601. This turbo has about 20k more RPM in it. With bigger injectors it can probably make around 700-750 whp maxed out. But I'm fine. I'm not trying to impress anyone with power numbers. I built this for me. It's fast and it sounds sooooooo good. I must give thanks to a dear friend that has helped me so much with this car over the years. @stusmedley helped me pull and install quite a few engines as well as load and haul my dead car around with his truck and trailer. He also did the finish welding on the headers and fuel rails. Машина досталась мне с полурабочей приборкой…. Заказал другую у братьев Киргизов (@legacymarket )… почитав на форумах понял что просто так взять и поставить не получится…. В каждой приборке зашит имобилайзер и пробег… не хитрым путем выпаяли с моей и впояли в новую два микрочипа и вуаля теперь все показывае и работает как надо… перед установкой предварительно была отполирована и закатана в полиуретановую пленку!!!
