Someone here on IG DMed me and ask me to measure the rear brake caliper spacers on my bike, i told him my bike is not here with me but I will measure when I can. Then I told him these spacers may be different depending on brackets he use and also on a different model bike. He should buy different size spacers and stack them to the right height. I sent him a pic of my RG and showed him. All I did was trying to give most infos. He got mad at me and rant on why I could not just answer his simple question. He knew all those and no need to give him a lecture. Go measure them and tell him or just don’t answer at all. WTF is wrong. Is this how you asked for help. I think I’ve found the culprits. After removing all these titanium rotor bolts for Geezer Glide, I’ve found the groove on these Titanium rotor bolts. I can assume that stainless steel Rotor has been grinding these titanium off so it allows those movement. I am replacing these bolts with stainless steel and will see how they go. This is how I mount the Baja Design LP4. I used the headlight bracket that come with the kit. Lifted up with brake caliper spacers and long ARP 5/16 bolt. Then retrofit extension block to make it fit the quarter fairing with quick release clamp better. I’ve decorated with black pin stripes stickers. You might notice I have dropped the forks a bit. Started off with 27.5” tubes but I did not like it so dropped it about 1.5”. Now the bike tip into corner a lot better and match the geometry of the 14.5” rear shocks a lot better. I’ve come to realise the obvious differences between @brembobrake GP4RX and M4 when using as rear brake on Harley. Best way to notice is to use rear brake only to come into a slow speed and stop at red light. You will find GP4RX is smoother and more controllable. You can keep your balance a lot easier. When looking into specification, I believe the GP4RX’s 30/32 cylinders have more control over M4’s 34/34. Worth it? TBH it was the master cylinder that made all the differences. Switching from M4 to GP4-RX would not make a great deal without changing the top.
