During a downtown photoshoot, my reserved client let loose when a street musician played nearby. Her joy was captivating as she swayed to the soulful tunes, creating images that captured a raw human connection. The music enveloped us, revealing hidden emotions in my client. Drawn to the musician, she seemed transformed amidst the busy city backdrop. Her genuine happiness and vulnerability shone through as she gazed at the musician with admiration, swept away by the spell of music. The connection between them was profound, promising lasting memories beyond just photographs. After that memorable encounter, my client and the musician embarked on a relationship that blossomed. Together, they founded a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching children from underprivileged backgrounds how to play musical instruments. Their shared love for music led them to create a sanctuary where kids could find solace during challenging times. The organization became a beacon of hope, offering support and opportunities for those in need. Their journey from a chance meeting on the busy streets to making a meaningful impact on young lives showcased the transformative power of music and human connection. This shared passion not only enriched the lives of the children they worked with but also deepened the bond between my client and the musician. Every situation is different, and in many cases we are happy to donate our rentals in exchange for professional photos of our design work and inventory. Depending on location, depth of setup and amount of product being transported, we may charge mileage and/or setup fees for our time! Please reach out if you have a project in mind, we are happy to put together a proposal/design mockup if we are available! We ask our collaborators to sign our rental contract even when rentals are donated, to ensure appropriate care is take of our items and replacement/damage costs are taken care of when relevant! This week wrecked me. I started it off with a girls weekend in NYC with my bestie, then went straight into hosting The Heart Workshop (@theheartuniversity) at @lundyfarm this past week. It was magical and overwhelming in the best way. Hosting the Heart Workshop is the most fulfilling work I've ever done. Providing a creative, restful, fun yet spirit filled retreat for female photographers to walk in, better their business and art, and get a firehouse of business education, encouragement & truth poured into them..... there is quite literally nothing like it. We get told this during every workshop, but as a couple girl's reminded me last night that we were doing the Lord's work: it truly wrecked me. Because that's the entire reason we decided to call our workshop & company The HEart. He is Art. We are God's works of art. And it's through Him we can find peace, rest, fulfillment, confidence, and strength to face our deepest fears & accomplish our greatest dreams. Everytime @evierupp & I go into another Heart Workshop we pray each and every girl who walks through those doors would feel the peace & joy of the Lord. We pray they would find rest & rejuvenation. We pray their creativity would explode with fresh ideas. We pray blessings over their business. And we pray chains that have held them back from realizing exactly who the Lord created them to be, would break once and for all. Right afterwards will be a couples session on the beach with a cute little picnic setup and very luxe beachy vibes. Later in the day there will be an elopement in the rainforest of Ecola State Park (couple + bouquet). At sunset there will be a full elopement with a ceremony setup at Cannon Beach. HOW MANY SPOTS FOR OREGON? Max group size will be 5 people for the add ons. For the main shoot it's 10 people divided into 3 groups. So as little as 3 people. There are currently FOUR spots left to join us in Oregon! HOW MANY COUPLES? There will be a different couple at EVERY SHOOT. This way you're getting a ton of content! PAYMENT? There is a split payment plan with venmo through me where you don't have to pay any fees. You can also pay via credit card OR via AfterPay!
