Yesterday, the Suffolk Sharks baseball team had a split performance, losing game one 9-4 but bouncing back to win game two 12-8. Dom Lafroscia had an impressive day, going 5-7 with 3 runs scored, 3 RBIs, and 3 stolen bases. In game two, Jake Tannenbaum went 2-5 with 2 doubles, 2 runs, and 3 RBIs. Jack Turner stepped up on the mound, pitching 3 innings of relief in game two to secure the save. Jack Turner displayed exceptional skills on the mound, pitching a complete game and striking out 10 while only allowing 5 hits. In Softball, our Sharks split against Monroe. Kate Smith delivered an outstanding performance, throwing 3 and 2/3 innings of shutout relief in game 1. She continued her success in game 2, securing the win.
