Lovely Thursday! 🤍 If you're searching for a place to enjoy fresh sushi in a comfy setting, then you might want to give @sushi.fanatics a try 🍣 This restaurant is located in Amsterdam. Next to sushi you can also order side dishes, donburi and matcha drinks and desserts (coming from @taigu.ams ). I personally prefer torched nigiri and maki, so I had to give those a try. My taste buds were perfectly satisfied! ☺️ It was my first time trying otoro (aka fattiest part of blue fin tuna) and it does melt in your mouth as many describe. I did enjoy all the sushi, especially the torched ones. I love how you generous they are with the slices of fish. The desserts were nice as well. The matcha flavours are strong and both the terrine and chocolate were not too sweet or heavy on your stomach. I wasn't able to try their cold matcha drinks with dango, but I will come back to try. The place itself is small and features a few tables in front of the window. The interior is kept simple and minimalistic. They also have a long table upstairs where you can sit with other company. Finally got the chance to try the matcha drinks from @taigu.ams. We had a matcha frappe and matcha latte and they were superb! We also tried a hojicha tart, unfortunately that didn't taste like hojicha at all and it wasn't soft like a real egg tart. Ik houd van bijzonder en lekker eten, dus thuis heb ik op Instagram gezocht naar bijzondere tentjes in Amsterdam. Zo kwam ik o.a. uit bij @taigu.ams 😊. Hier verkopen ze allerlei lekkere matcha en houjicha drankjes en taartjes. Wij gingen voor een houjicha latte met sojamelk en deelden een matcha en houjicha tart. Alles is zelf gemaakt en smaakt echt heerlijk😋. Ik ben een echte matcha liefhebber, houjicha daarintegen had ik nog nooit op. Maar ook dat smaakt echt heerlijk😊. Zowel matcha als houjicha is een Japanse groene thee, maar houjicha is gemaakt van geroosterde groene thee en bevat iets minder cafeïne dan matcha.
