This year's fashion calendar is packed as usual. When I was writing about fashion, I had to know all of these dates and be prepared for all of this and more. It was fun and exhausting. Now I watch the fashion weeks from the sidelines on my own time. I don't have to get up early or stay up late to catch a show. Memories.
Moment of Honesty Here: I just moved back to my hometown, and I'm finding it hard to socialize. Like my social battery is low. I know it is partly because of all the stuff I have been through in recent years. The move was exhausting, Outside just isn't the same outside anymore, and I still mask. People do not give your weird looks for masking in Charlotte like they do down here. It's strange. How do you all feel about socializing in 2023? Tell me your thoughts.

They were right about the chrysanthemum tea after dinner. Very smooth and herby, but it makes my tummy feel great. I love exploring traditional Chinese medicine remedies and techniques. I find that they really do agree with my body. I bought this from a local Asian market. It was cheaper there. Also this will move your food right out of your body. #iykyk

2022 had ya girl down bad. I'm so grateful for my friends, family, and spiritual dream team that stuck beside me and mine because whew. I felt like I got jumped in a gang. My mom had several health scares. Thankfully her pulmonary embolism dissolved on its own and after multiple doctors appointments and breast cancer surgeries my mom is cancer free. She still has a long way to go for recovery, but she is doing well. I almost died in a freak car accident, and I was fighting for my life with my career because people literally tried to sabotage me. This year has been a lot. If I have been distant, distracted, or just plain ghost that's why. Please bare with me as I try to get my life back in order. 2023 please be good to me. I'm tired. #TFASLife
