Many of them have so many questions? I remember sharing for hours with a couple other Jamaicans who were snorkeling with me one day. Seems like there's only two kinds of people in this world, those who know English and those who want to learn English. I don't mind cuz I like making friends with people who don't yet know my language.. can I do my best to learn theirs. Handmade ceramics from Kenya!!! I am in love with these beautiful handmade items from @anchorleatherafrica - This incredible social enterprise in Nairobi is doing so much good. Not only do they create pottery, brass jewelry, baskets, glass, and leather goods, but they also provide skills training and employment for people who would otherwise have no dignified way to earn a living. When I visited in November, I learned that most of their employees have been able to move out of the slums and into safe housing because of this job. They are able to pay for their kids' educational needs and provide food for their families. Isabelle, founder and CEO of Anchor Leather, shared that her dream is to provide opportunities for women through craft. I am so excited to announce a brand-new tour - walking the Camino in Portugal and Spain - this September! This 11-night expedition through Portugal and Spain is a opportunity to rest, reflect and share an incredible experience with a community of women. This immersive journey will begin and end in the charming city of Porto, in Northern Portugal. We will also spend time at a farm and retreat center in the serene Vinho Verde wine region, preparing our hearts, minds, and bodies for the journey ahead. Then we’ll make our way north to the Camino and for eight nights (including two nights in Santiago). We will walk an average of 12 miles a day and enjoy the convenience of a luggage porter that will move our things each day to the next destination. We will also help prepare you in the months leading up to the trip to make it a seamless experience, leaving you with just two obligations... to enjoy it and be present for what the journey will mean to you!
