Last week was a big week for school hockey. On Tuesday, the school team performed brilliantly in the Pearson Cup, reaching the final only to miss out in sudden death penalty runs. A difficult way for the boys to lose, however they were a great credit to the school in the way they handled the disappointment and demonstrated great sportsmanship as they collected their silver medals. During the tournament they played eight matches, scoring over twenty goals and not conceding one…a remarkable performance! On Thursday, nine former pupils, who all enjoyed success in the Pearson Cup, returned to Inchmarlo with the Burney Cup. This is the first time RBAI have won this prestigious trophy for over twenty years. We are very proud that half of the First XI squad started their hockey journey at Inchmarlo.
