[Château de Peyrepertuse] Dans l’Aude . Situé juste au dessus du village de Duillhac-sous-Peyrepertuse, les ruines du château Cathare sont accessibles en voiture (il y a un parking). L’entrée est de 8 euros par adulte. . Après avoir passé l’accueil, une petite marche plutôt ombragée à travers la montagne est nécessaire afin d’atteindre la première partie du château. Montez dans la tour la plus haute ! Le paysage est à couper le souffle ! . Today I have been in my element - as part of my life here en France I have dreamt of an asparagus bed of beautifully green spears (sorry not the white spears the French prefer) and so here it is. The spider like crowns will mature in two years so I have to be patient but the wait will be so worth it. With my own fresh asparagus and eggs from my happy hens I can’t think of anything better! Once in a while I post pictures that have nothing to do with books. This summer I couldn't travel to Scotland (as ~kind of~ planned). I stayed in France and discovered the Auvergne, a stunning part of France. Here are some pictures (it is rare I put 10 pictures! I couldn't choose.) I love the ones with the air balloon ( #airballonobsession) from the top of the Puy de Dome and the ones from the bottom of the Puy de Dome with the parapentists (2nd and last pic).
